Nirmala Guest House Surf Keramas

Great budget accommodation near the famous Keramas wave. Staff were super helpful and very friendly. We had an issue with one of the rooms but they promptly switched us over to a better one. Very happy. Breakfast was cheap, and quite delicious. We loved the peaceful location in the rice fields. It is so beautiful to see the ocean throughout the front driveway

The first room we were in was very old and the bathroom was mouldy. Bed was very uncomfortable and we could hear the neighbours easily. But the staff moved us over to the newer rooms near the rice fields and it was so much better! After this we had an amazing time and are very thankful for the staff.

What I loved about Nirmala Guesthouse is that its a sanctuary from the chaotic , intense, traffic & busy tourism. At Nirmala guesthouse I needed a place to rest, recharge, read, walk to beach. If yr into surfing this is the place to stay, good value. You are surrounded by rice fields & ocean isnt far. Not a safe beach to swim but you can sit on waters edge & splash yrself to cool down wth the locals. Staff is very friendly & look after you. Its very Balinese & theres new rooms & older rooms & bungalows to choose from.

The rooms need more shelving or table to put yr clothes & belongings on. Short on storage shelves, hooks to hang up clothes. Menu a bit limited, Wayan the chef is good at what he cooks. Was sad to see plastic rubbish on road to beach. But i was told Nirmala workers pick up once a month🙏 Massage from Ayu good.🙌 Yes i felt very looked after here.

Only complaint would be wifi in room kept dropping out! In reception/resto wifi perfect
