The location worked perfectly for us. We were cycling from Blenheim to Ward (on the new "Whale Trail" - Picton to Kaikoura - yet to be completed - April 2026) returning the next day - about 74 kms one way.

You need to take all food and drink that you require. There are no onsite services and no local eateries.

Our stay was very comfortable, there was plenty of room and it was very clean. Very short drive to a beautiful beach, and there are two nice places to eat near by.

"Too noisy.."

Friendly welcome. Fantastic shower. Lovely tidy clean rooms.

Heard every truck that went past. ..all night. Double glazing would help. I Read most of the reviews and none mentioned the Traffic noise. Sorry I wouldn't stay again. Unless was double glazed.
