Yufuin Onsen Hasuwa Inn

Food is very delicious, onsen private room is spacious for family with 2 small kids

Location was a bit out of the way from the main train station but we really liked the traditional feel of the property. Feels like a traditional, humble ryokan. Dinner and breakfast were filling and we enjoyed our stay. Onsen was super relaxing, especially the outdoor one because unlike other ryokans, the ones here are mixed, private bath which means my husband and I can enjoy it together rather than separately.

The beds were super thin so it was hard on our backs. Location was a bit far from the central yufuin but it wasn't an issue

A lovely ryokan to stay on the edge of Yufuin. It was quiet with easy parking and a safe neighbourhood. We enjoyed the onsen very much and would not hesitate to stay here again. The meals were beautifully prepared and the dining room was lovely. There were bikes available for hire.

We like their simple things.

We saw other room mattress was ready before check in but we have to do it by ourselves and it seems lots of things in the cupboard.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we needed to be transferred to the train station and the owner was more than happy to help. Dinner and breakfast was included during our stay and it was delicious. The onsens were also delightful. I would highly recommend this inn to anyone that stays in Yufuin.

1. I message hotel to pick my family up from Yufuin station twice. Noone reply. We walked with 2 big luggages. 2. Bathtub: water not drained. We couldn't use it. Need to use public bathroom. 3. Teapot: there was some tea leftover in teapot when I checked in.
