Lovely home from home in beautiful, quiet surroundings. Very pet friendly with an enclosed garden and pet extras. Relaxing few days wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful spacious property in a calm and peaceful rural location. The property was really well appointed and clean and was just what we needed for a weekend away. Hot tub was large and very clean and a lovely warm temperature when we arrived. I’d recommend anyone to stay here.

These aren’t “negatives” and didn’t affect the perfect score we gave this place. Just some things that would have topped it all off. There were some cobwebs in the master bedroom up along the fire alarm and centre of the ceiling. We cooked and there was salt and pepper, but no oil - could be a good addition to the cupboard as not something we thought to buy. Would have loved cotton bedding to go with the other ‘luxury’ details. The cheap biscuits on arrival 🫣 nice idea but maybe upgrade to better ones or do away with them.

It is a lovely place to stay in a fantastic location to explore the local area. The lodge itself is well equipped and a real home for home experience. Clean and Tidy and the owners were fantastic from start to finish.

The lodge itself is beautiful

The lodge was dirty. There was broken glass outside. Dog food left allover the floors. We had to clean the lodge when we arrived due to it being so dirty. My husband is currently having chemotherapy so to find the lodge very dirty was upsetting. It cost us a lot of money to find it in that state. All the crockery and cutlery was dirty we had to literally clean the place before we could stay there.

Beautiful lodge, lovely and clean and full of all amenities. Hot tub was fab and the enclosed garden was excellent for my son.

Slightly remote location so need car to get anywhere but this wasn’t a problem at all.

Probably not enough on site and you need a car to go anywhere even to the nearest pub

The lodge was beautiful very clean and so much spacewe loved our whole weekend my father in law loved the fishing lakes and we enjoyed how peaceful and quiet the whole place was xx

We stayed with our son and daughter to celebrate my husband's birthday. The lodge is lovely, well equipped,comfy beds,fab hot tub. Plenty big enough for all of us, beautiful country location with "wow" views . We were given loads of useful information Alistair even gave my husband fishing tips and left his fishing trolley for him to use very kind. Can't wait to go back

Loved everything but was surprised no hair dryer. This did not spoil our break in anyway

The size of the property and how it is laid out is amazing. it really fits everyone nicely. I loved the upstairs bedroom, it was so spacious. The kitchen is beautiful as is the garden, it was really handy with our pooches. The bathrooms are really modern and I loved the shower 😍. Absolute bargain really for what you get and in comparison to other places!

The only downfall was the shops being a drive away for snacks etc but that is no fault of the cabins or the place itself!
