Authentic feel, optional breakfast and dinner add on, spacious rooms and baths, good price and the owners are wonderful and helpful. The Japanese style heated table was my favorite.

It’s a bit remote, about 15 taxi from train and bus stations and taxis are very busy during ski season so booking taxis was a bit of a haste, tried to Uber once and no cars were found around 6pm. Also a lot of harmless bugs everywhere.

Staff was so nice and welcoming, breakfast was delicious, the place was extremely clean, nice very hot onsen! Room was also very spacious and comfortable!

The property is located 15m drive from the slope in a beautiful area, the hosts are fantastic

Far from town, need a car to get there. The staff did not communicate with us on whether we need breakfast or dinner.

Cozy and very clean. We had dinner one day and everything was really good! The onsen was very relaxing after a full day out, glad we got to enjoy it every day! Beautiful place away from the city but close enough to enjoy the hakuba area!

If you are a light sleeper like me, you will probably wake up often by other guests around the house since you can hear everything. Check in was a little difficult at the beginning since I arrived at the place and couldn't find anybody to check in or had instructions on what to do but figured it out later and google translate saved the day!

Very friendly family. Also, the hotel is located on a mountain and has a nice garden.

Our room on the bottom floor was really loud, so we couldn't find the quietness and peace we were looking for. We woke up every morning at 5-6am because of other guests noise. Also, some weird radio was installed in our room that made noise starting from 5am.

The place is beautiful. The garden is spectacular and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Even when we arrived late they helped is a lot and they were always nice.

Its far from the city, and the showers are open only on specific times, afternoon or early morning.
