"Great spot for relaxing in nature"

8.0

Very comfortable stay at this newer hotel. We were originally booked in a room with no private bath (must use communal onsen on the top floor for bathing) unbeknownst to us, because the room description was lacking. Our request to change rooms was fortunately accommodated. Overall this hotel occupies a remote and lovely natural setting -- best viewed from the indoor/outdoor onsens on the top floor. It was our nightly ritual after skiing. Skiers should be aware that the hotel operates a shuttle back and forth to Nozawa Onsen resort, but you must comply with a limited schedule. It can result in a lot of back and forth travel time on days when skiing and dining in town.
