Hotel Pekin

The hotel is right on the Malecon, close to so many good restaurants that a week is inadequate, even if one visits 2 or 3 a day, to visit half. The hotel is really simple, very clean, and staffed by people who make one feel welcome, and glad to be there. My room was toward the rear, but overlooking a lively street, and with a view of the bay!

I didn't mind, but some would find stairs-only access a deal breaker. Minor, if even worth a mention.

The best about this hotel was its location - right at the Malecon and also close to the Cerro de La Calavera. The room was clean and spatious enough. There was hot water in the shower.

The garage system for parking car was a bit strange - some cars get blocked and apparently the keys should be left at the reception. During the checking they also charged us a wrong price (probably by mistake). Fortunately we noticed and they were able to cancel the payment, the money arrived to the account with a day delay. We also have to pay a deposit for the room card.

La habitación estaba sucia tenía cabellos y pelos en el baño y las sábanas con manchas

La ubicación es muy buena, aunque está cerca de la zona de bares no hay ruido por la noche. La habitación era espaciosa, la cama cómoda y tenía las amenidades necesarias

El baño tenía un olor raro aunque estaba limpio. Seguramente el drenaje

Location, staff, very clean and amazing value for money

It’s just what it is - not luxurious a bit outdated but very spacious and clean and amazing value for money - beds were comfortable- staff were friendly and even free parking included - great value for money
