Nice and clean rooms. Very cosy. Nice arrangement on the bed with flowers and nicely arranged towels, very cute. Possibility to rent scooter in a good quality. Exceptional nice owner. She is very helpful and has an absolutely winning personality. English spoken. Advantage is definitely the location in perspective of getting around. No long drive over big stones and slippery soil, easy to reach playa and places for food. Cool bar is next to location. Owner tried to deliver some small Thai breakfast at the door, but you might have to fight with the apes over it. Sometimes you only find the crime scene instead of the breakfast.

Where light is there is also shadow. Some of the mentioned advantages also carry some disadvantages. I wouldn’t rather consider them as “disadvantages” rather than noteworthy points. The central and easy to reach location is next to a street which causes entertainment but also noise. Same for the bar next door. Sometimes music can be very loud. Solution: go over and party! :-)

We spent 4 nights in one of the bungalows adjacent to the road and we were very happy with our stay. The buildings appear to be quite new so are in a very good condition. The terrace has comfortable furniture, as does the little lounge area with a proper sofa and the kitchen is well equipped with kettle, toaster, electric pan and a good selection of utensils, plates, cups etc. The bathroom was spacious with a good hot shower. The bedroom had a firm but comfortable bed, bedside lights and sockets along with controllable, effective AC. The lady in charge was very friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. We rented a scooter from her directly at 250 baht per day and she left us a little bag of goodies to eat for breakfast each morning which were always delicious. She even sorted out transport to the pier free of charge on the morning we checked out.

As others have said there is no furniture in the bedroom. It's not a big problem, and there is shelving and hanging space but a set of drawers and/or bedside tables would be really useful.

We had a great stay in Koh Jum Paradise. It is run by a very helpful and chill lady. It was very clean, every morning we got a small Thai snack for breakfast. The room is quite spacious and even has mosquito nets on the windows in the bedroom so you can sleep with the windows open. There are several nice restaurants and cafes nearby. Coin operated washing machines are right across the road. The bed mattress is very firm which might be a good thing or a bad thing.

A table or chair or anything in the bedroom would be nice to keep our things. The AC compressor is quite loud and vibrating so you might have trouble sleeping with it on, but at least you can open the windows at night.
