Das Darmada Eco Resort liegt idyllisch an einem Fluss in der Natur, Restaurant war gut.

Wir hatten eine Lodge sehr abgelegen trotz frühzeitiger Buchung. Nach 5 Minuten auf der Terrasse waren alle Taschen und Koffer von Ameisen übersät. Ein Aufenthalt dort war auch nach chemischer Keule nicht möglich. Aufgrund dessen mussten wir kurzfristig das Resort wechseln. Ob der Preis erstattet wird, ist fraglich. Auch gab es im Zimmer kein Mückennetz über dem Bett, obwohl die Badezimmertür nach draußen große Lücken hatte.

Magnifiques espaces communs (spa, restaurant, bar, les 2 piscines, les jardins). Très jolis logements très cosy, bien équipés et bien décorés. Bon emplacement proche de la rue principale de Sidemen. Un scooter est fortement conseillé pour visiter les beaux villages alentours. Personnel très sympa et très professionnel.

The fact that it was set alongside a river. Pretty flowers and lawns maintained. Quiet at night. Nice veranda to sit out on. Very clean. Breakfast could be had sitting on balcony near river. Book swap. Really good mosquito net around bed. Breakfast was tasty but the cooked breakfast made to order was never hot which we didn’t understand.

It was just to basic for us personally. No internet or tv available in room/veranda. That may appeal to some. We ran out of toilet paper on second night. Couldn’t access our safe and although we told reception it wasn’t resolved. We hid our passports. Staff seemed to be more friendly as our stay progressed. Bathroom facilities are attached but upper areas open to elements. Shower pressure was limited but hot.
