Executive Inn Wichita

Older property. Box tv. Lumpy bed which i think was just the box spring. Foldout couch missing mattress so it sunk in. Door frame broken. Although the stay was quiet. The place is in need of an update.also found some interesting signage and what i guess is a menu left from a previous guest.

Just the worst. Filthy, decrepit, small television with static. When I asked for a "Do Not Disturb" sign so housekeeping would not come in, the manager told me the maids don't speak (or read) English. I asked for towels for the next day. They told me I'd have to return the towels. We had not used them yet. The assistant manager said, "The people who stay here are thieves and scammers." Three vehicles were being repaired in the parking lot. You get what you pay for.

On a recent cross country road trip I reserved rooms online based on the best price and have been shocked and disgusted by what is out there for around 50 dollars. This was not as disgusting as THE RODEWAY INNS I also stayed in, but just slightly better. Dirty hotel grounds, weird isolated location with a closed night club next door and yucky moldy corners in the bathroom. I asked at the front desk for sheets for the pull out bed in the couch for my son and all they could give me was one sheet? (Weird). Air conditioner works well. Bed is comfortable but I found a hair in my bed and it grossed me out but I have been traumatized by terrible hotels on this trip. Pretty good Chinese delivery near by (LEE's). Next trip I will either camp out or try Airbnb. Had much better luck for this price range with them.

There is no way I will recommend this place to anyone, nor will I be coming back. NASTY NASTY NASTY. Where should I start. Terrible carpets. Nasty bathroom, It's sad that who ever owns this property is collecting money and doing nothing with the money!! Unless your just really hard up for a place to say, for the night, stay away!! It's not worth it!!

My 9 mo old daughter & I needed a place to stay for a couple days until our apartment was ready and the executive was affordable for a single mother who's tight on money and moving from out of town. I asked too see a room before I purchased it and upon first glance seemed to be ok, but my daughter's clothes are stained black from the carpet, there's blood or something splattered on the wall, the phone was broken, no light bulbs, remote didn't work, the bed is slanted & so on & so forth. All of which I didn't get too bothered by until on our way to get our belongings my transmission went out & I had to carry my daughter back to the motel, 4 mos pregnant, in the cold, broke, stressed out and as soon as I get inside management was right behind me saying the "curtains were bunched up in the window" so she shoved me out of the door way and started going through my diaper bag after she 'fluffed' up a curtain I hadn't even touched! I told her it might have been moved up while I had my daughter asleep on the couch earlier( which I'd scooted a lil bit so she was sleeping safely), but the curtains being open or closed really should be up to my preference. She then proceeded to chastise me for not having a baby bed for my daughter and talking down to me like I'm some rif raff here to destroy her hotel room and when I tried explaining my situation to her she said she doesn't care what's going on with me just don't move the curtains or furniture and make sure I clean before I leave. Clean what, I have no belongings here!? Normally I'd just blow that kinda thing off but I wanted an explanation for the way she treated us or a refund to leave! There was no legitimate reason to barge in an occupied room or to chastise a customer, in my opinion. I went to the front office where she refused to come out & explain herself. I was offered a refund for one day instead of 3 days by the front desk clerk, who had no answers either and just stared at me blankly before he said my check out time was a day earlier than originally arranged...which I had no receipt for due to printing problems. Imagine that. Not only is it dirty and decrepit the staff is the worst I've came across and I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anybody, EVER! If she's willing to almost assault a crying pregnant woman holding a baby over a wrinkle in a curtain, I wouldn't wanna see how she'd go about handling a real issue.

I ALWAYS ask to see the room I would staying in before I pay. The man was nice enough and took us to a room. Walking to the room I notice door frames busted and replaced with 2x4s on some parts the ACs were busted up from the out side. He opens the door and it smelled like it had not been clean in 10 years. I only walked halfway in seen the ripped stained bedspread disgusting carpet busted furniture. I did not make it to the bathroom but I'm sure it was bad. I told the nice man thanks for his time a tore behind outta there!

room was fairly clean . we got a jaccusi tub room this is wichita people so 101 dollars for a older motel is way to much . lady manager was nice and friendly but room left alot to be desired including the sex toys left in drawer and the ice cream left in the fridge . no pool but it seems a lot of motels here dont. motel was quiet but air took along time to cool musty room and had a strong odor of sex. bed was old and needed replaced . this was not the way we wanted to spend last night of honeymoon.

I had a flight cancel and just wanted a bed near the airport since I had to get up at 4am for a 6am flight. Stopped by a couple hotels and they all wanted $70-99 for a room that I would only need for less than 8 hours. Then I saw this hotel with a sign saying $39.95/night and free wi-fi and I thought that sounded about right. I got what I paid for: a cold room that took 30-40 mins to warm up, no blanket, just a bedspread (I like a "cool" room, but this would've killed my wife!), an alarm clock that wouldn't set, the tiniest bar of soap on the planet and an ice cold floor in the bathroom/sink area (first floor room). Fortunately, there was a heater in the bathroom that I left on all night so the bathroom was warm in the morning. Lady at the desk was pleasant and I didn't have any noise issues but the fan was on "High" all night so it's hard to say if it's a noisy hotel (not a lot of cars in the lot). This hotel is directly under the approach to runway 19L at Mid-Continent airport but I was there late at night and they didn't have any arrivals or departures in that period. There was a microwave and small refrig but I could've set an item on the floor in the bathroom and chilled it pretty quick. However, "I got what I paid for," in a cheap room, reasonably clean room. This isn't the "Ritz" but it doesn't claim to be, either.

In the process on moving to a new city, I stopped here because I was on a tight budget. It had been a very long day of driving and I was tired. When I stepped into the lobby, I noticed a very strong musty(old) smell. Once I got to my very outdated smoke smelling room I saw a cockroach on the wall! I immediately went to the office to ask for a refund and the desk clerk was in the back room arguing with another employee (very unprofessional). Got my refund and went somewhere else!

I arrived at this hotel after a long and frustrating day. The room was very nice with a pullout sofa, desk, wi-fi, microwave, fridge and jacuzzi tub. Everything worked well and I enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers.
