The Monty

The renovation to this motel is wonderful - very Palms Springs vibes. The rooms look great at the beds are comfortable. Location is fantastic!

The closeness to the main road meant there was a little noise overnight. The front reception area and diner were closed the whole time we were there, which was a shame as we really wanted to enjoy those areas. Some of the finishes on the rooms were a bit cheap (the bathroom tap kept falling off and the air vent in the bathroom is very loud when you turn the light on), but overall they look great.

Super clean and tidy. Stylish outfit of rooms. Short walk to shops and restaurant/ cafes.

Location was perfect, and the newly renovated rooms were gorgeous 1

No hot water first night and pool was not 28degrees as advertised

Not that practical, could add microwaves and more functional rooms

Cool mid-century theme, comfy room and friendly staff

Only thing I would suggest is having a microwave oven?
