Skye Eco Bells

Cute cabins, comfy beds, fire place is a nice touch.

On booking the cabins are advertised as having a shower and toilet with it, however this is not the case. There is one communal shower and communal toilets. If it was clear this was the case on Booking then it would’ve been fine, but it was quite an unpleasant surprise upon arrival. Furthermore the cabins can’t be locked from the inside, which also not stated on the general info page on booking. If I would be travelling alone as a woman I would’ve liked to option to lock the door, regardless how safe the area is perceived to be. It’s all quite expensive for very basic amenities.

Great ecological project in nature, lovely location with shelter from young trees. Hot shower from renewable energy. Good parking

Good to support this Eco sensitive project but expensive for basic facilities. Lack of wifi for those who have to work. Dry toilets are environmentally sound but a bit 'whiffy'

The campsite was beautiful and super serene. The perfect place to just chill and relax. The lodges were nice and provided everything that you might need. It was a nice place for an offgrid vacation.🤗

I feel like the bed wasn't super comfortable, the matras was too thin for my liking and you could feel the springs. Also the men's urinoir was not connected to the river, the urine was collected around it and it attracted a lot of flies who liked to dance around your weewee. 😅

The facilities and cleanliness at Skye Eco Bells were exceptional. The hosts had thought of absolutely everything that guests could need and provided it. Their commitment to sustainable living at the site was really excellent and there was no compromise in terms of comfort or practicality. The location was perfect to be away from everything apart from nature and an ideal base for walking and also exploring further afield around the island.

I can't think of any improvements to be made.

Skye Eco Bells is fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed switching off and connecting with the beautiful environment and surroundings of Skye. Scott and Nadia have created a little slice of heaven.

It was great. We had a lovely long weekend. Very peaceful and perfect for what we needed. We were travelling with our dogs ,so it was amazing that the place is dog friendly. We really had a great time!
