Poor value for money. Everything very cramped including car parks. Room very cramped with poor taste- unprofessional repairs /alterations. Not sure how they would meet building standards. Didn’t feel or smell clean. Wouldn’t stay again. Very noisy at night despite double glazed windows at front

Location to main shops cafes and beach

Kaikoura itself is definitely worth visiting.

My room was not clean, dust was on switches and light bowls, when I laid in bed it was a cloud of dust, it can be dangerous for people with allergies. Instead of garden view I had a view on campervans and tents. Very poor sound isolation, I could hear everything that was happening in other units. Towels were very old, washed so many times that changed the colour, there were spots on the bed cover and in general the room was not as described (was written "recently renovated"). Wifi didn't work properly.

Close to train station and comfortable.

Bathroom and kitchen were very lovely and newly renovated

When we walked in there was quite a few flys in the room, however the staff were helpful in fixing this problem quickly
