Tiziri Camp

Everything was truly spectacular - we had such a wonderful experience at Tiziri Camp. The owners and staff truly made you feel like part of the family. Youssef, Mustafa, Hamid, Ahmed - everyone was wonderful. It is a smaller camp which makes the experience so much more intimate. They even have heating in the camps which is a luxury compared to other sites where I've heard people freeze all night in the winter months. We had a nice and toasty room, it was lovely. The fire and music was incredible and definitely something we won't forget. We have two small children, ages 4 and 6, and everyone treated them as if they were their own. They even had the chance to play and make friends with the owner's child and the much loved pup of the camp. On our full day at the camp, Youssef took us around on a tour of the area and then we finished the afternoon with dune buggies and a sunset camel ride led by Hamid. Incredible. A desert sunset in something else entirely. Mustafa took care of all of our needs at the camp and in the restaurant which serves a multi course meal for breakfast and dinner. Everything was delicious! Our two night stay at Tiziri was the absolutely highlight of our trip to Morocco. While we are a Moroccan/American family, it was a new experience for everyone and one that we will cherish forever. We cannot wait to go back!

the location; the setting was spectacular; the camel trip was as expected, but the 4x4 wheel drive in the morning was marvellous, in particular because of our excellent and competent guide (unfortunately we do not remember his name)

The camp is at an amazing location. Far away from all the bigger camps that are closer to big roads. The breakfast was excellent and more than we could eat. The tent was very comfortable. A good bed and shower and cozy. We made a wonderful sunset tour on a camel. A great experience. The dinner was very tasty.But the most important is to mention Ahmed and his team. They do a wonderful job even in the midst of a sandstorm. In the evening they play the music from the desert and tel stories of the Berber life. It made it all very special.

Dinner and breakfast not rich enough. But can’t ask more in desert.

This was quite a surprise in the desert! Once again, it’s the people that make a place and the staff at this location was one of the best! Mustafa and Yusuf were great horse, but Ibrahim cooking was out of this world. It really was quite a surprise to get rest such a restaurant quality food in the desert. They really do think of everything right from welcoming you with a chilled lemonade and ensure that you are well taken off well taken care of all through the visit.  the staff also keeps you entertained with music after dinner and if no music, then just playing some riddles!  Highly recommend to stay at least two nights - most people stay just for one night and miss out on great activities like visiting a nomad family, learning about desert lifestyle, visiting local attractions. You can also the thrill of riding a quad / ATV bike on the dunes!

The entire team at Tiziri is out of this world amazing. The camp was incredibly clean, the beds were the most comfortable of our whole trip, all the guys were amazingly friendly, the music was a once in a lifetime experience… I could go on, but really, just book this place. I’ve never been so enthralled by a place or a group of people, ever. We could have stayed up chatting with them all night. Many of the camps feel like “desert Disney,” this one feels different and immensely special. Plus, they’re eco friendly. By far our favorite part of our trip to Morocco, and probably of any of our trips ever. Thank you so so much for making our honeymoon so memorable! We’re already trying to figure out when we can come back.

Not a single thing, absolutely everything was amazing.

Excellent luxurious family run camp. Definitely take a 2 hour camel sunset trek to the camp. Our tent, one of only 6, was fabulous with a full private bathroom. This camp was beyond what we could have imagined, beautifully designed where we enjoyed the silence of the desert. Very good breakfast and dinner. Amed, the owner, organized activities for us: tea at a Berber family dwelling, 4x4 drive through the dunes, BBQ lunch, sand buggy drive including sand boarding, Berber music by the fire, and more. We were very glad we stayed 2 nights there and feel that it was worth the price. We were impressed with Amed’s personal touch.
