Riad Madu

Really nice riad! We had the chance to be upgraded, and the room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool and with a view on the sand dunes. The staff was very nice and the pool was a big plus considering the hot weather in Merzouga. The dîner served was the same for everyone and was not exceptional but fine. Overall, I strongly recommend this riad.

I would have liked one or 2 options for dinner.

Riad Madu was definitely an oasis in the desert. The Raid itself is absolutely beautiful, especially at night. From we arrived the staff were so attentive. They upgraded our room free of charge, and it was stunning. The food was excellent, very tasty . The pool area was great with spectacular views . We also took the tour into the desert that they organised, and it was magnificent i would highly recommend it . Wonderful place, wonderful people, and a wonderful experience .10/10

Nothing. This is not a criticism as the food was delicious and good value, but the portions could be considered small for some people . I was full after it, but my husband ( who has quite a big appetite ) wasn't. Again, it is not criticism as it was lovely but just something to note for certain travellers.

Everything about it! Car parked in the shade, friendly and helpful staff speaking English. The food was very good, the beds comfortable and the aircon was working perfectly. The fridge was a big help to cool the beers we brought earlier elsewhere. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The view of the sand dunes is amazing especially while you're refreshing in the clean swimming pool. Ideal both for couples or families with kids like us. They can organize for you any tour you like. We chose the camel ride at dawn. If I would go back for sure I would choose the same hotel

It’s a beautiful place nearby the desert. Easy access to visit the dune. The food (dinner and breakfast) were very good. Small pool, but nice.

Riad Madu is a beautiful property with the most incredible views of the sand dunes. The service and hospitality is excellent. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Merzouga.

Riad Madu is a fantastic place to relax after a hot day spent in the Sahara. The facilities are great, the swimming pool with the view of the sand dunes is amazing. Staff was polite and provided a good service. I would highly recommend to stay here.

Location and view were perfect. Relaxing atmosphere. Very good food.
