"Was amazing but staff need better training one laughed In my face when I complained"

It was an amazing location honestly some spectacular views close to the town and ferry

The staff weren’t very nice two days on the bounce we got served cold food at dinner, when it was supposed to be hot food, when I complained they went upstairs with me to check the food and proceeded to lie saying it was warm I’m not being funny but if I’m having ‘hot’ food I want it ‘hot’. I did make it known.

We had food poisoning and required ambulance service at middle of the night…. There is no manager present to speak with day and night. Staff don’t know how to manage complaints situation. The room was ok… you have to make your own bed. Wall was dirty…. Ambulance service seen my partner vomited all night long… they were sad they couldn’t helped much because we are in an island … and have to wait 4-5 hours for net ferry service We required food spent to be refund and they refused…. Totally unacceptable for a hotel…. Swimming pool not working…. Infact the swimming pool is dirty very dirty and not maintained at all

"The most expensive of our hotels, but not the best."

Loved the location. The room was beautifully appointed with a magnificent view. Lovely products. Fabulous tub bath from which you could admire the scenery. Kimono at reception were also a nice touch and the Onsen's (public baths) were well stocked with lovely products and complementary items like hairbrushes, razors, toothbrushes etc.

Of all the hotels we stayed in during our visit this was the least clean. The tub bath had a ring round it which a good bleach should have been easily removed. The corridor carpets were dusty round the edges and I didn't feel the half-board food was as fresh as it should've been. It's the only time on the whole trip when I woke up at 3am with stomach pain needing to dash to the loo. The pool wasn't open when we went and this wasn't obviously stated on Booking.com. And the Onsen with a view (which was spectacular) had poor drainage.
