Zmajevac Fruska Gora

Traditional hospitality, along with excellent location, provides you with a breath of fresh natural air. Delicious food along with a classical assortment of Serbian drinks. The staff was very lovely and jolly and you could that they had a very open rapport with one another. Air conditioning works well and was very effective on a hot day, also water mist fan was lovely during the meal.

The room was small and the layout was a bit cramped. You can practically charge your phone while in the shower and then wash your hands while being on the toilet! Some interesting architectural design choices too such as the electrical socket being in the shower. A little bit of noisiness but not too much.

Location is excellent, nice restaurant patio in forest.

A rooms are not at level that supposed to be but still acceptable. Small bathroom sink drive me crazy but in general nice place for a one night stay.

- The location! The hotel is situated on a wonderful spot - a few meters into the forest from the Zmajevac viewpoint, several major hiking paths in easy reach. - Easy to get to with public transport, there's a bus #86 that goes right from Novi Sad to Zmaevac. - Foxes, owls at night, lovely kittens at day in the yard). - Rooms are stated as smoking, but no awful smell or dirt found. Tiny but neat bathroom. - Nice children playground in the yard, a great spot to have rest on your journey with kids. But not to spend the nights (read the reason below).

- We weren't offered continental breakfast that is mentioned in the services. I've misread this info during booking, and so didn't demand anything. So no one ever mentioned it, we had to pay for the breakfasts. - No sound isolation in the rooms! It may be crucial. We were staying here to hike in this part of Frushka for 2 nights. But the place proved to be a motel in the most common sense of the word, so the second night we were having a lovey-dovey couple as neighbors. And they were LOUD (you know what I mean) and didn't give a damn about anyone. - Given the circumstances above, the place is not very suitable for staying with kids. Too risky. - Firm mattresses, may be too harsh for sensitive backs. - Food is somewhat nice, but the portions seemed smaller than stated on the menu, meanwhile the price is not cheap.
