The place is in a mountain, very cute dogs around and a lot of nature. The cabin was big enough for two people, kind of duplex the bed was in the second platform, hot water and they clean the room! Staff very helpful we rented a bike to go around.

When we arrived nobody was waiting and we spent a few minutes finding someone to help us check in. After check in happened again, but when we found the person we asked for their WhatsApp and was easier to reach them, I would recommend that from the beginning. You need a bike no matter what there’s nothing close by (but I think it’s worth it to be far from the noise, it depends). There was no SOAP. Which is pretty basic thing in a Hotel, also water, there’s is a kitchen space open but they never said it was okay to take it from it so we just bought ours.

A bit warm inside the room

We didn't use the pool but it seemed good. The staff tried unsuccessfully to solve the problems of the room we rented.

The rent was charged in advanced despite having chosen to pay later. The room was supposed to have air conditioner, but it didn´t work, it was really hot inside. We made the claim and require a refund of part of the money but they didn’t fix it nor gave back any money. Moreover, the bathroom smell like a sewer. The price-quality ratio isn't good. We definitely don't recommend this place, it was very disappointing.

Paul went out of his way to accommodate us, especially when he discovered our adult son had ambulatory issues - swapped us to a villa that had fewer steps. He also arranged to have our yummy breakfasts delivered. Getting a good local driver is helpful too.

Villa doesn't supply soap so bring your own. The location is a little isolated but there are many restaurants that will do pickup and drop off. Take ear plugs for a good nights sleep - its called villa dog for a reason! :)

First week I lived in the villa with stinky bathroom and asked for room change. I’ve got change and it was really better. Good value for the price. Facilities ok for me. Wi-Fi was good (except 2 days), I stayed for a month. Place a bit far from everywhere, but I liked it. There is common kitchen with drinking water, that is recharged if you ask. I liked the dogs and neighbors. Staff is friendly and helping. Garden is great.

Bad road to the villa. Smell in the bathroom of the first villa and vent didn’t work in the second villa.

There was a nice sea view from the second story of the villa. It was private (only 5 other villas) and relatively peaceful excluding the big resort that is being built a few KM away. The kitchen / dinning area was large. The bedroom was large and clean. Overall the villa was very clean, but needed some maintenance.

The fridge actually made milk and water warmer than when I bought it, it was obviously near broken as it was turned to its max. The ants were everywhere. I understand seeing them around, but there were hundreds down in the kitchen and too many to count on the upstairs balcony (I bought ant spray to keep them from the bedroom). The toilet sprayer was broken so you needed to turn the water to toilet on and off every time you used it to prevent water from spraying when not in use (it was off when I arrived). There are zero amenities... I mean not even soap for your hands or bin bags for the bins (make sure you have dish soap, bin bags, hand soap and of course all of your shower needs.) Perhaps this last bit is on me, but it is in the middle of nothing. It is an absolute must to have a bike. There is a Gojek extra fee to come there, so have your bike before because you can't find one anywhere near there. Lastly if this sounds ok for you make sure you understand when you come there you need to find someone that works there to check you in. I got lucky and found a guest after ten minutes that yelled for one of the employees (they don't have a reception) I don't like writing bad reviews but I wish just half of my issues were known before booking (no amenities, have your own bike, no reception)

The loft was lovely and cosy and the garden was beautiful

It was a bit stressful checking in as there was nobody there for about 20min. I was walking around wondering if I was even at the right place as there is no check in desk or anything. Eventually my taxi driver flagged down a lady and she checked me in. She did not give me the wifi password so I had to get it from one of the neighbours. The neighbours were playing loud music and I tried knocking several times with no answer. I could not pay by card because "the machine was not working" which just means they do not want to pay tax and I have to now fork out ridiculous withdrawal fees. The poor woman managing check in was frantic because I did not have enough cash on me and I had to go to an ATM the next day. It is not her fault if the machine is "broken". It is unreasonable to expect me to go to an ATM at 9pm at night. I paid in cash the next day when I got back from my day in Uluwatu and apparently her boss was very unhappy with her. This is not fair on her. The property is in the middle of nowhere and grabs are even difficult to come by there.

The pool was nice, staff were helpful with luggage. Beautiful garden area and roomy accommodation.

The fact that both the listing and website state there is a restaurant on site, only to find out this isn't the case and restaurants, shops or supermarkets were miles away and would have to get a car or scooter hired and not given any notice of this. We were expecting to eat onsite the first night and we're not offered any other options. Wifi was not working when we first got there either. One of the railings on stairs up to the bedroom was broken and dangerous and had been for some time. We had to ask for water to go into water cooler, even though there was plenty of notice. No bed cover on the bed only sheets and marks on pillows and sheets didn't feel clean. The toilet cistern stopped filling and wouldn't flush within a day. We understand that it wasn't luxury accommodation but did expect it to be what was advertised.
