"Family Trip to Pinnacles"

9.0

Family trip to Pinnacles Nat'l Park and this was one of the closest locations to stay. We were pleasantly surprised by all the wildlife in the resort area! Cabin had what we needed to cook our meals and enough room to comfortably move around and sleep.

I thought there was a grill at each cabin... but didn't see one when we arrived.

Proximity to Pinnacles National Park

We would have appreciated posted check in/check out instructions. Cleaning was not as thorough as it should have been.

"Great place for campers, travelers and RVs to visit Pinnacles National Park."

10.0

Located near the Pinnacles National Park, it was an easy drive. Lots of trails, places to walk around the property. I liked the heated pool but it was too cold outside to get into a bathing suit. Very peaceful and quiet.

I didn't have high expectations since it is an RV/camping park but was really surprised by how much I enjoyed it there. Booking didn't have the name of the cabin OR the resort, which is actually Thousand Trails, correct on their site so it took a minute to resolve that.

"It was a very worthwhile stay and I’d do it again and recommend it to others."

9.0

It was a very comfortable, cozy and well maintained cabin with all the amenities. The kitchenette was adequately stocked. There is no stove but a hotplate was just enough to cook a simply dish. The staff was super friendly, helpful and very responsive with calls and texts to answer our questions!

I wish there was a warning that the google map may give misleading directions to the property. A direction included in the confirmation would have been very helpful. There would have been no way to see the name and number of the cabin from the car, especially in the dark. I had to pray that no angry campers would charge at me when I had to get very close to their door to see the name / number on their door frame. Luckily we found our cabin on a second stop.

Check in time in the booking site says 4:00- 10:00. When we got in the Campground at 5:30 it was totally dark and the roads have no street lights . No indication where check-in was. To enter the gate we had to follow some campers. The only light was at the store. We got lost and drove around for almost 30 minutes in complete darkness looking for the office. Out of desperation we stopped at the store. The sales lady had to call someone to find out how we could check in . Finally she was told we could just go to cabin at the end of some road. When we got to the camp grounds our Google maps stopped working. We could not even use our phone to call family despite the fact that I have 5 bars on my wi-fi. We were messaging them on the road close to camp and suddenly we couldn't. The road to the Campground was so bad and much worst inside. There were so many potholes that were deep and full of water the car was basically crawling in the dark. The cabin was perfect. The heater was on, there was music playing and had enough space for 2 people. There were BR and kitchen amenities. We had to go to the camp lodge the next morning to call our family and use internet . They even turn off the internet at the lodge at 5 pm. They have wifi , phone and internet blockers in the camp. As soon as you leave ground my services started working.

"very peaceful, friendly staff."

9.0

We enjoyed our stay and we will return. it's a ways out of town. The cabin was really nice the grounds are well kept. and there was quite a bit of wildlife.

the only complaint I have is the on site store closed early so in ode to get something to eat we had to go back into town.
