Jacqueline houseboat

It was an awesome experience in the Jacqueline house boat, the property owner is good hearted and really supportive. The other staffs are very helpful and kind. They had taken care of our food, shikara ride and any realted activities so nothing to worry. The owner Lathif Sir, you are really a great and good hearted man and we will not forget the help you made us when I was sick. God bless you!

pathetic...aloo paratha was the toughest thing they could make... tea was pathetic again....poha was tasteless and bread was hard

first of all the promised facilities were not given...secondly complementary breakfast tastes pathetic and the owner was too rude

1. The people are really amazing! The father~son duo running the property is exceptional and extremely good people. Love their hospitality. 2. Plus the view from the boat was amazing in the morning!

1. Nothing specific about this property but if you are staying in houseboat you need to be back by 10 as boats don’t operate after that! That’s a big problem when you are on a vacation. 2. You can’t order any food or basic tea after 10 pm as the kitchen don’t operate after that. These are the basic facilities you expect when you are on a vacation.

Jacqueline houseboat is luxurious houseboat and when you enter the place it gives you a royal and luxurious feeling. The view is amazing from houseboat and Jacqueline houseboat is located on front side of dal lake. Service is fast and people here are very friendly.

Facilities could include bed warmer and heater that hotels offer, but I can appreciate that it's difficult for houseboats to provide the same amenities as a hotel

This was the first place that I stayed in through booking.com and I was not disappointed. My host/hosts were most attentive and welcoming. My wish was their command. From the moment I stepped out of the airport I was taken care of. Then when I stepped into the houseboat I was treated like a respected member of the family. The family couldn't have done enough for me:- good food, beautiful surroundings and lotus flower seeds:-) I was regaled with history stories of the houseboat and it's most famous guests, sat on beautiful antique chairs, was treated to delicious food and given access to hand craft works of wearable art that is been crafted by local women. I will take all these beautiful memories with me always. I previously had no intention to return to Srinagar, I thought one trip would be enough but now I fully intend to come back next year. The property owners son is taking me fishing for brown trout and the brother has offered to bring me to see the women who do the hand embroidery work:-) any woman can feel safe and cared for in this home with Latif at the reigns 👍
