Pelicans Pad @ St Lucia

The location is very good. Right near many restaurants and in main street.

We had to search for our key. The furniture is a little old. But for the money it was good.

Clean chalet, enjoyed the large pool.

Unfortunately we found the chalet lacking in some of the basics for self catering. The fridge is very small for a few days’ groceries for a family of 4, there wasn’t a salad bowl or steak knives, the kitchen and patio light didn’t work and the geazer overflow spouted hot water into our parking bay, so we had to park elsewhere. The chalet is uncomfortably hot during load shedding times, when the AC is off. The owner was however friendly and helpful, the bedding and towels clean and of good quality. The chalets are very close together with little privacy and it was a bit awkward having meals outside, along side the neighbours, as there aren’t seating inside. Otherwise we had an enjoyable stay, within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Within walking distance from very nice restaurants. Great swimming pool.

Parking areas could be a foot bigger. 2x More lights required to assist with loadshedding.

Bed was very comfy, aircon was awesome, pool was great. Even with the load shedding we were. Not left in the dark as there was a rechargeable light for the room, however it would be great if there was a generator to run the aircon.

The stove needs a little TLC and the crockery needs to be checked and needs to fit enough for the amount of guests.

The setup for a family was nice and the location is next to most amenities which was a great thing.

The place was not clean especially the dish cloth had the unpleasant smell ,under the microwave was dirty even after the cleaning ppl came , all the dusty places were still the same. we had to buy washing soap to soak them as the dish washing liquid provided was not enough. It will also be nice if you could invest in the generator
