I had a wonderful stay at Tashkand houseboat during winter season in January 2023. Musa, the houseboat owner, is very helpful and provide very good service. Dinner at Tashkand was our best dining in Kashmir as it's fresh meat, homemade, and no MSG. If you stay here I recommend trying 1 dining at his place. The place is clean and tidy. There's towels and amenities provided. There s no heater in the bedroom but it's replaced with warmed electric blanket which works very well to keep you warm at night, especially in winter. There are free shikara ride across to main road if you paid for shikara ride trip the first or second day. It's a special deal that the houseboat made with shikara riders so you will get the best deal and save money if you get shikara trip. It was the memorable, affordable house boat price. I will definitely come back again. Thank you, Musa :)
