There is private onsen for use. But the onsen bottom is slippery with algae. Dinner is great with fresh beef to grill.

There is no bathroom inside the room. And the wind from air conditioner inside the room blows directly to the sleeping floor.

The rooms were stylish trditional jjapanese, food was excellent, the bath was nice with nature views and easy available, hotel was very quiet

Everything was Amazing The rooms, food and the onsen. We arrived right at the check in time to make use of the onsen as much as possible. The location is amazing and i would definitely recommend the dinner and breakfast. The staff was amazing.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were great and very informative about the location and transport options etc. An absolute must stay if you are near the area. The food was incredible for breakfast and dinner, very traditional and gorgeous meat. The private baths are the best we went in, the fact they are private is a massive plus. We had the best time here; thank you to all the staff! It is also really close to the bus station to get to the Kamikochi Valley.

Gorgeous tradicional japanese room. Every detail is taken into account. Tha food for dinner was absolutely the best and worth all the money we payed! Outstanding dinner, served with local products and all the Hida beef you can eat! Breakfast was delicious as well. The room has a toilet and basinet but for showering you have to use the onsen ones. I would have stayed here a couple more nights to explore the area better.

The onsen could use better cleanning and or maintenance. It was completely our fault not to check in advance but it is quite far from Takayama (1h) and the buses run only about an hour apart so we really had to plan our arrival very well not to miss dinner or the bus back to Takayama the next day.

The dinner and the breakfast and the private natural onsen (hot spring), unbelievably awesome

Everything all good. Make sure you arrive after 3pm and before 6pm to be able to get in the property and ready for dinner.
