Driftwood Motel

Large room. Good bed.

Motel was run down. Needs refreshing. Kind of rough part of town. No coffee. No ice machine.

Staff was very friendly. Location is good, surprisingly quiet for being right off the PCH. Room was spacious. You could tell they've upgraded the bathrooms and some of the furniture.

The room could have been cleaner. The bathroom and sink area (tile area) was very clean. The other half of the room left a bit to be desired. Worn, dirty furniture, bed-frame was a bit janky. I saw "no pets allowed" signs, but there were dogs during our whole stay that barked on and off at times. Not management's fault, but there a few "interesting" people around. Most with staring problems, i obliged back to no issues.

King size bed, television, Wi-fi, spacious room, adequate parking. Good location, stores and restaurants within walking distance. Not too far away from Redundo beach.

Roaches in first room, manager moved me to another room which was better. Access to parking area from main road can be confusing.

Convenient to stores

Room wreaked of pipe smoke, it took 2 days after I left to stop smelling it

The location and price is what made me rate it so high. Plus I came late and check in was quick. No deposit. Big bed. Lots of room. Small place, maybe 20 rooms. Quiet and basic

That it was cheap

The tv didn’t work and when my husband told the front desk, they said they wouldn’t accommodate us and that we could get our refund and go elsewhere. Very rude.
