Accommodation at the Dive shop.

It was really difficult to walk to town due to the more remote location and lack of illuminated foot path. Not the fault of the hotel, but makes access to restaurants really difficult.

Nice garden, large rooms. Clean. A large desk to work.

Super friendly owners and staff, even lent us ceremony outfits and took us to temples for Balinese special ceremonies! Decent location at one end of Tulamben - 5-10min walk/scooter down the hill into town and the dive 'drop off' point, or if scuba with the in-house dive centre they will take you down in the truck. Rooms are very quiet, spacious and fan/air con works perfectly. Some loud tockay's got into my room for a couple of nights so the owner was kind enough to put mesh over the bathroom vent. Great to have a deep pool to dip into and you can rent a scooter for okay price. The accommodation grounds have a lot more plants and vegetation than photos show, and nice mood lighting at night. Restaurant was okay and accommodating, they took requests especially for special diets - highly appreciated when I was unwell. It is also high up so has a good view of Mt Agung for sunrise and sunset. I stayed for a couple of weeks then extended another couple of weeks (one month total), and whenever I needed to return later at night or leave very early in the morning they were very easy going. There's also a friendly resident dog (Doggie). Thanks so much for all your help and lovely conversations, I had a fantastic time!

Some parts of the room could use a little bit of patching up (eg. Sliding door and grout in bathroom) but the place is clean and well taken care of overall. Though limited, food was okay as a vegetarian.

Peaceful location. Amazing staff. I loved how it’s close to town but not in it. Beautiful sunsets and stars. Very welcoming, genuine, kind staff.

Very clean and spacious room with big toilet. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The staff offered to drive me to nearby location for free! Never expected that. Great nice view of mount agung from the restaurant. Breakfast was nice. Strong wifi in room too. The dive shop attached was nice and professional too. Another + point is there’s a massage place right beside.

Although the staffs did clean the pool everyday, there’s still slight smell and the water taste weird when swimming.
