Western Hills Motel

Loved the room, loved the people!! The room was clean with everything I needed. The restaurant was an added benefit being so close to the rooms and the food is great. I was able to have my two dogs with me without any problems, which gives Western Hills triple stars in my review!! Thank you Western Hills staff for being so friendly and helping me whenever I needed something.

If I had seen review before about ‘party’ in the car park and the married couple putting suitcases by their door to make them feel safe, o wouldn’t have looked at the sign let alone stayed here. I’m currently at the hotel with my two freinds with all 3 suitcases by the door blocking us in. We where put next to an odd arrangement a young man without a car and the shakes and ab older guy that cane later in a beaten truck. I’ve just been woken up by freinds with knocking on the door at 12 in the morning 3 tines! It’s a shame we ate so terrified as earlier on in the day we thought it was a reasonable motel with reasonable prices. But it you have to stay awak scared what’s going to happen then it’s never going to be a good stay. Maybe they should be fussy on who they let in and abit of security

We were traveling on Route 66 and enjoy staying in the old neon motor court hotels. This one needs some attention. My husband was eaten up by bedbugs here. Some lights in the room did not work and the hair dryer was broken. The host was friendly and the bed was comfortable, but, because of the bedbugs, I would not advise staying here.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for just a night as we were driving through along Highway 66 and couldn't have been more pleased. The room was simple but clean and the wifi worked great. The owner at the desk was very courteous and helpful and the motel is just a short walk from the historic downtown. The neon sign outside on the road is also a fantastic timepiece... Great value and a piece of history!

I stayed here for 3 days to visit my daughter who is at NAU. I arrived the last Saturday of April and was greeted with snow flurries. This hotel is walking distance to downtown and a few minutes drive to the mall. It was a very relaxing stay, I really enjoy the hospitality and friendliness of the staff.

I really enjoyed my stay at Western Hills really did . They had great service and low rates for them time we had stayed with them. If only they might be willing to let people with cats have their cats with them ,I had to rehome my kitten ,but with the lower rate it worked out fine . Close to the best Chinese restaurant as well and the Agave and starBucks . Sweet !

This is an older hotel,yes only two electrical outlets, but the room is comfortable. There were 2 full size beds, a big screen tv, and a nicely updated bathroom. Nothing else. The location is PERFECT. Away from the craziness of the "new" area, walking distance from beautiful downtown, and a few minutes from the mall. I highly recommend the stay here.

I stayed here for two months while working a job in Flagstaff and it was a decent room. Better than the other motels I looked at on Route 66. I liked the location a lot too, it's not far from downtown. Jenny is very helpful and kept my room and outside area nice and tidy :)

I recently spent a month at the Western Hills Hotel while trying to find more permanent accommodations in the area. It is an older hotel, but my room was clean, comfortable and fully functional. The friendly owner offered me a fair weekly rate that was valid even through the busier week of spring break. I especially appreciated the microwave and the refrigerator in the room and the fresh coffee each morning in the front office. I would recommend this hotel to any budget traveler who appreciates value over luxury.

Good rate, clean room, remodeled bathroom with fan. No coffee in room but available at office. Chase, office manager was very helpful. Would stay here again. Great Route 66 motel. Eat at restaurant connected to motel, was good.
