The Forest Pod - Wood Fired Hot Tub and Fire Pit

It’s was Cosy clean and the staff was extremely helpful in getting the hot tub fire started which got so lovely and warm can’t wait to stay there again

The setting is lovely it's very cute and was clean and tidy. The hot tub was lovely once we got the temperature right.

The door didn't have a blind on which was a big downfall it was also super muddy to be expected so just take wellies with you the bed was also fairly hard I'd recommend taking more pillows with you

The property was really cosy nice enclosed/private garden.. lovely and warm inside.. very clean & nice location not far from Blackpool too

The Hot tub.. we spent over 2 hours with the fire going to “heat” the “hot” tub & 2 bags of fire wood and another fire log later we opened the lid to get it the top was warm (ish) but as we got in the bottom of the hot tub was freezing cold infact unbearable to sit in it we was in less than 60 seconds before we had to get out and give it up as a bad job.. we booked this for my daughters 7th birthday with the hot tub been the main part of the adventure for her she sat waiting so patiently for it to warm up for it to be a disappointment to her.

Misleading discription on the booking.com website, was led to believe there was a bedroom and bathroom inside the property not a 5 minute walk away! There was also no instructions or welcome pack with instructions on how to heat the hot tub, as we were unaware of how much wood was needed on the first night the hot tub was too cold and the second night too hot resulting in not being able to use. On the second night we even asked staff about this when they came to collect the money for the wood we had requested, there response was instructions should be on the booking site ( which they are not ) very unhelpful, a lot of money spent for nothing!

Loved the hot tub. Very comfy bed !
