Smiths Farm Holiday Park

Decent rooms in quiet, calming area. Good value for money and convenient proximity from picton ferry terminal. We arrived from Nelson late evening and left early the morning after to make it to the ferry, so we unfortunately did not have time to check out the glowing worms by the camping or the area in general. Would recommend if possible to include 2 nights here to enjoy the area around, which was stunningly beautiful. The hosts did everything in their power to get us settled and make us comfortable. My friend even forgot her earrings in the room, and they kindly shipped the earrings to our next location so she could get them back. Definitely coming back on our next trip to the area.

Extremely warm welcome, with lovely muffins! Very helpful hosts - provided everything needed for the kitchen. Very comfortable room and bed. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were of high quality and very clean. Lovely bush walk to the waterfall and stupendous glow worm display each evening was a very special bonus, followed by vast array of the milky way stars. This was truly a wonderful find and we would happily return. The location was perfect - easily accessible to Havelock snd the pelorus sound boat trip - well worth doing, and the Queen Charlotte track - we did a beautiful day walk from Anakiwa.
