Riad Matins De Marrakech

The Riad was in a quieter part of the Medina which taxi access which was great when being dropped off on arrival as we didn't want to walk down an alley on our first visit. Our daughter is allergic to nuts and sesame and I had notified the Riad beforehand. The very fridndly lady in the kitchen very kindly cooked pasta for us each day (we brought from home) and they bought us in cornflakes. The staff were lovely.

I have nothing negative to say at all. This was our first visit to a Riad so cannot compare but we were very impressed. As much as we liked the location I would prefer that we were a bit closer to the new town. Our Riad was on the opposite side of the Medina so next time we would stay perhaps more central, although it wasn't a big issue.

Stunning interior design and the staff were incredibly helpful. Always wonderful to have a roof top view. Having stayed in a more southern part of Marrakesh, this Riad is in a favourable location for rooftop restaurants and some of the lovely places to visit such as the Museum of Photography and the Secret Garden.

The ground floor room we booked is very small, not big enough for two people and has no adequate ventilation so smells damp. I would stay again but would book a room on the first floor, especially if you are in any way claustrophobic.

We liked everything about this small charming Riad. The staff were wonderful so helpful and kind from when the warm welcome we received when we arrived very late at night due to a six hour plane delay and throughout our six day stay. The room with the extra bed in an alcove was perfect for us and well looked after and cleaned.. The roof terrace was a wonderful place to relax, read unwind in the sun. The Breakfasts every morning also on the roof terrace were a real highlight too, they were amazing. We also arranged one night to have a three coursel dinner inside, this was excellent and great value. The location right by the Medina was perfect for walking to various sites and through the Souk but also easy for vehicle access to go to and come back to and there were lots of lovely restaurants and cafes nearby. While enjoying walking and discovering Marrekech, and the very busy noisy and often crowded streets it was always a pleasure to return to the quiet Riad. All in all a great place to stay in the heart of Marrakech.

Our stay at the Riad Matins in Marrakesh was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly kind and helpful staff with a mint tea and sweet snack. Breakfast was absolutely delicious—every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared from Latifa, giving us a real taste of Moroccan cuisine. Our room and all common areas were consistently clean, and they provide everyday new towel. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakesh. We would happily return! Thanks Shihab, Hassan, Latifa anf other staffs!

De entre tudo, salientamos a preciosa ajuda e simpatia do Shihab na indicação do roteiro a realizar e outras dicas muito uteis, a deliciosa comida feita pela Latifah e a disponibilidade e amabilidade de todos os funcionários. A repetir se voltarmos (como esperamos) a Marraquexe!
