Absolutely loved our suite - so beautiful! We also loved the rooftop terrace for cooling down in the pool! Said (I think the manager) was amazing and couldn’t do enough to help us! Even preparing a super early breakfast for us on our early departure and even walked us to our taxi with all our luggage! He is exceptional.

We felt the evening meal was on the more expensive side. It really was delicious but 100 euros for 4 people without a choice is a little high.

Hemos pasado 3 días estupendos en este maravilloso Riad. Nuestra habitación estaba en el patio y era muy tranquila, hemos descansando muy bien. Además, era muy espaciosa. El desayuno en la azotea riquísimo, preparado en el momento y las chicas muy atentas. El segundo día contraté un masaje de 1 hora y volvería a repetirlo. Igualmente, gracias a la chica por su profesionalidad. Destacar la azotea con piscina, muy limpia y en donde hemos pasado las tardes. Pero lo mejor sin duda ha sido Said, que bella persona. Nos ha tratado genial y nos ha explicado todo de la ciudad (a pesar de ser nuestra segunda vez en Marrakech). Es un lujo contar con él, nos ha hecho sentir como en casa. Gracias Said por tu atención y amabilidad, no tenemos palabras. Gracias por todo.

The riad was the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the Madina. Well looked after from the moment we stepped out of the taxi where Siad met us, and took us to the riad. Mint tea on arrival was a lovely touch after a long journey. The place itself is beautiful, from the rooms to the rooftop. The breakfast every morning was perfect. The location was great, the staff all very friendly. Siad always on hand to give recommendations and make sure we were ok! Our room was cleaned every single day with new towels. The shower was great! The room spacious and just felt so traditional. Would truly recommend this riad :-)

Everything! The service and welcome from Said- the atmosphere - the room - amazing little apartment perfect for 4 friends. The area seems a bit creepy outside but its perfectly fine and we never felt scared- the place was like a little sanctuary after a day in the busy souks. Highly recommend and Said met us from our Taxi too!

Dar Akal is a beautiful riad and the two bedroom suite was perfect for a stay with my parents. It was much more spacious than in the photos and lovingly decorated. Said and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful and our dinner at the riad was one of our best meals.
