Riad de Vincent

J’ai passé un excellent séjour au Riad de Vincent à Marrakech. L’emplacement est idéal, en plein cœur de la médina, ce qui permet de tout faire à pied et de profiter pleinement de l’ambiance locale. J’avais réservé une chambre individuelle, très confortable, propre et décorée avec goût. Le riad est juste incroyable et magnifique, chaque détail est soigné et l’atmosphère est vraiment unique. Le petit bassin sur la terrasse est un vrai plus, parfait pour se rafraîchir et se détendre. Le riad est calme et reposant, idéal pour se ressourcer après une journée dans l’agitation de la ville. L’accueil a été chaleureux et le service attentionné tout au long du séjour, on s’y sent comme à la maison. Je recommande vivement ce riad et j’y reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

J’ai beaucoup aimé l’accueil chaleureux, l’emplacement et la décoration du Riad. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et très généreux. Un très beau moment passé dans ce Riad avec ses hôtes.

La chambre était bruyante et trop de lumière la nuit. Pas de rideaux aux petites fenêtres. C’est dommage car tout le reste était parfait.

We have visited Marrakech numerous times and stayed in a variety of raids during these trips, which usually we love for their authentic feel. In comparison Riad de Vincent was very disappointing. It was a strange mix of styles and felt very tired in places. The pillows were unbelievably uncomfortable and completely mismatched. But by far the worst was the noise in the evenings - until 11pm one night and almost midnight on another night, which was caused by the owner having dinner with various guests until very late in the centre of the riad. Noise travels very easily in riads because of the layout, and the constant clattering and loud talking interjected with the owners dogs barking caused us very bad nights sleep. To top things off the owners and their guests were smoking in the Riad (which had a plastic cover over the roof) and so the entire place smelt of cigarette smoke. We came to Morocco with our child, hoping to restore and relax a little bit, but left this riad feeling more exhausted than when we arrived. The owner was not at all helpful - he in fact left us to get our own luggage out from where it had been stored on the last day while he chatted to more various friends, did not offer to help, and did not even say goodbye. All in all a very strange and inauthentic experience and not at all the warm and friendly hosts that we have found elsewhere in Marrakech.
