Hebridean Motel

The motel was conveniently located for a night’s stay at the end of the Cabot Trail.

This property, though at least not outright dirty, was odd and had poorly done upgrades. The window screens were torn, limiting the ability to open windows. The flooring transitions had screws or nails that were insufficiently driven and sticking up, creating an injury potential. Towel bars were oddly missing in the bathroom, though the wall cleats remained. The sink area was dirty. Bedding was passably clean, at least. There was a general odor of mustiness and unfreshness, likely due to many prior years of in-room smoking. For the price paid, it did not feel like a good value.

C’était super propre et confortable. Un très bon motel pour un bon rapport qualité prix. J’ai été très heureuse de tomber sur cet établissement!

Brightly painted and in a good location for the beaches of Port Hood. Classic motel room.

Although the sea can be seen, our room actually looked out onto a huge hardware store.

Great staff and value.

No ice machine.
