Skjervøy Lodge

The view from the living room is stunning. Everything was clean and had all the hardware essentials in the kitchen. It is great that is has a washing machine we could use.

Having a drying rack would be great and maybe some more silverware or dishes as well as maybe two or three essentials like oil for cooking or salt and pepper. The tv didn't have any sound.

Location was awesome for us going out whale watching. We brought our own boat so was easy access to the launch

I would stay in this accommodation again and very much enjoyed the stay but did have some difficulty with the reservation at the start where they couldn’t find my booking. This was resolved and the staff were nice and very helpful when you could reach them. A little difficult to get in touch with them via phone or emails in the beginning. No issues once that was fixed. Can recommend!

Beds and rooms were very comfortable and the location was perfect.

The view from the window of the cabin at the sunshine and sunset was the best part of our stay! The bathroom was the best part of the accommodation: the shower is big and comfortable.

At our arrive to the lodge in the late afternoon, they have not already cleaned up and set our apartment: after calling the reception by phone, they told us how how open the door of the main building and enter in our apartment. At the entrance, we found dirty sheets and mattress cover on the stairs of access to the apartment. We call to know what to do and after 30minutes waiting, a girl arrived and told us we should move us to one of the cabins, but the dishwasher was broken, so we have to move again to another cabin, closer to the pier. The rooms had only single beds (we are a couple) and the matresses were not confortable. The temperature insiede the cabin was too high so it was very uncomfortable to sleep in the room. The forniture of the apartment was old and not in good conditions. The rate is really unacceptable and too high for such a poor level of comfort!!! I would not stay here again and I would not recommend this facility to others!

cleanliness, location and great communication with host

The facilities were great, it had a good shower and comfortable beds. The lodge has been upgraded and things looked new.

Communication before arrival could be improved as no details as to which lodge we were staying in were sent. Couldn't find any socket to plug in the kettle in the kitchen, had to put it on the floor in the lounge area. No welcome folder, so no wifi code. Electrics kept tripping and heating went off but the lady arrived to check all ok when I reported it I think when the dishwasher was on it caused the problem.
