I was returning to my home in Vancouver after a six month stay in Edmonton caring for a terminal relative. My stay at Twin Peaks was simply a convenient one nighter on my drive home. Twin Peaks was a very much needed slice of heaven for a very weary soul (I’m 74). Animals to feed and pet, beautiful views and a cozy log cabin to myself. Little touches that made it meaningful. Donna the owner couldn’t have been more compassionate and kind. Took my first real deep breath in six months. If you’re lucky maybe Donna will show you her wool felted atelier and beautiful, unique crafts. I’m in love with the place. If I wasn’t in a hurry to reclaim my life in Vancouver, I would have stayed a week. Thank you Donna for everything, especially the things you didn’t know you gave me 🙏🌀💙

That I didn’t stay longer ♥️

The location and views of Twin Peaks were outstanding. We had a beautiful sunset view, outdoor table and chairs, Muskoka chairs on the lawn, and a hummingbird feeder hanging from the eaves. Altogether, it was idyllic for what we wanted. Everything was clean and we had the furnishings we needed.

We had a few mosquitoes in our cabin and the owner will be addressing the issue. Other than that, it was perfect. (Note, we ensured all screens were secure etc.; just a function of a log building.)

The beauty and serenity ~ even though it was cloudy & rainy the snow capped mountains are gorgeous!

There was a “confrontation” between another guest and the gent who owns the property over a bbq flare-up that could have been handled better by asking the guest if they required assistance rather than hollering at the person about possibly starting the cabin on fire!

Donna was great and helped us with some good places to go see and do in the local area and then along our way to Jasper. The cabin was really cozy and the view of the mountains from the deck was amazing. The hummingbirds that zoomed around the cabins were really nice to sit and watch.
