Knotty Pine Motel

Was a little hesitant to book a non-brand motel, but the experience was entirely satisfactory. The person at reception was friendly and offered some good local tips about places to see. The room was immaculate. A cold breakfast, which was included, had a number of options. The motel is a short walk from several informal dining locations.

Clean

Clean, comfortable space. Staff were friendly and helpful. The motel is situated close to all local sites in the Bennington area. The trip was last-minute, so finding the space was a pleasant surprise. The cow portrait in the corner is a cheeky touch. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Very accommodating especially with all my check in and out changes. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was able to answer any area questions I had and make recommendations. Plenty of places to eat in the area and a short walk to a little waterfall.

We were visiting during an off season so not all ammenities were available at that time.

Check in with Will was smooth. He encouraged us to grab some food from the kitchen area as it wouldn't be open in the morning. We did not see any bottled water, which would have been nice. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

You do hear some road noise, but not unexpected as we knew it's location.

Room clean

Room cold; found thermostat in the morning. No breakfast off season, i.e. between Labor Day and Memorial Day. So that was a lie -- the listing said Free Breakfast. Staff went to bed at 8 p.m.; I arrived at 8:15. I left at 8:30 a.m.: still no staff. Essentially an old motel that's been freshened up a little. Ugly neighborhood.
