Comfy beds and good breakfast

The beds were comfy, the tents were cosy

The lack of facilities, from wash-hand basins, showers and lavatories for the amount of residents on the site. There was no mention of the showers being communal, so my grandparents weren’t pleased about not having privacy. The water was dripping out the showers and couldn’t adjust the temperature as they were scalding hot. The shower facilities weren’t clean, there was mould on the ceilings. The description also mentioned there screens in the tents which there was not. For the four of us across two tents, for two nights, we paid £1,000 for this. All in all a rip off.

The tent was spacious, the beds were comfortable. The location was nice as it wasnt too busy.

We booked to stay from thursday to monday over the tt race weekend, from the advertisment on booking it says food available, breakfast and evening, bar open in the evening. The breakfasts stopped on the saturday morning, there was no evening food at all. The bar area was closed sunday which was the main place to charge any devices, other than hanging around outside the toilets next to one of the 4 plug sockets. Showers also not very private.

Not really a camper and the description was misleading ..luxury bell tent with flat screen tv ? I thought nice yout type glamping .. it was not although a big tent it had comfy beds but wind and rain kept us awake most of the 2 nights we stayed . And £525.00 for this was shockingly high. And it being tt last weekend it was daylight robbery .
