Cute interior well maintained outside space as well

Bed was very uncomfortable, seemed like maybe there were broken springs as it sunk in the middle quite a bit. Before my stay I got sent ~20 emails and probably 10 texts about my stay, way too many. Actually made it hard to find my check in info when the time came having to sift through everything.

Miner's Camp was a reasonable place to stay for the wedding event we attended in Foresthill, not that there are many other options. The cabin was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The grounds had a ping-pong table and cornhole setup. The room was very clean, and the cleaning person was very friendly. She was the only "staff" present.

There is no staff for this place anywhere. Maybe it goes along with the rustic theme, but it's the wild west if you need help. Renting a place here seems to sign you up for text spamming repeating instructions and rules for being there. Seriously, there must have been 2-3 a day as our reservation approached. The day before we got there, we received an anonymous text from an out of area phone number with a cryptic message that said the router was down and we had a new code for entry. Nothing saying it was from Miner's Camp. After that we continued to receive messages saying our code was what was originally given to use. Thankfully I didn't delete the bizarre text message because our entry code was what it said. If you are here for an event, like a wedding, it's fine for an overnight stay, but I wouldn't recommend beyond that.

Could have used more amenities like condiments, tea, etc

My cabin was much better than the one my brother and his family had. Bathroom and shower were very good and I had a place to hang up clothes and dishwashing facilities. Overall my cabin was very good. The grounds were very, very nice. They had a place to barbeque complete with pots and pans, plates, etc. and a huge table. They also a fire ring complete with logs and kindling as well as ping pong, horseshoes, cornhole and maybe other games. They also had a rustic teetertoter and a "rocking horse" swing for children.

Three coffee pods for a 4 night stay with no housekeeping to refill is not enough. If you are going to offer them at all you should offer at least offer 1 per person per day. Too many prestay texts and emails. One of each would do and I think they should give the same info. Oddly enough I got the cabin code in the texts but the cabin number and its name were only in an email and neither said hit the check mark after entering code. My brother's cabin had refrigerator and coffeemaker but no plates (we used mine) and nowhere to wash dishes. I don't know how many coffeepods they had but it was much less than one per person per day so I gave them mine and they still didn't have enough. Seems the cabin facilities are hit or miss in terms of amenities in the cabin.

Loved having kitchen facilities and a nice sitting area.

Because it rained the whole time we were there, we weren't able to explore and use the common space. But it looked nice!

So pretty and we had snow, the outside area was amazing!
