Quirky. Great location. Art deco

There was a deafening drunken party til midnight the first night complete with glasses being smashed outside our windows and no one policing it. We were fearing for our car. Also the women’s bathroom is half the size of the men’s with nowhere to put your clothes. I think they should be swapped as women use the bathroom in the middle of the night more often and we had to walk a really long way

Lunch and dinner both were lovely

A little bit of updating would make it better

Good sized room with green leafy outlook, dinner was enjoyable with good service and ambiance.

Unfortunately my mother’s room was missing the tv remote and on lending her mine found the tv didn’t work, she was quite disappointed. No dishwashing soap was available but a tea towel was at hand, no big deal but I do like to leave a room tidy

So close to town and the pub for food was next door for dinner

Proximity to all the amenities that we wished to see/do was good and the room was clean.

Very plain and basic. Could have done with a bit of sprucing up. Did not feel very secure and there was a break in the window pane. If beer garden was in use I would have felt that the room could easily have been broken into if we were not in it. There was no fan in the bathroom so got very steamy. Not enough lighting in the room. Food was pretty standard and basic in the bistro. Only one spare pillow.
