The staff was very accommodating when we had a miscommunication and it was appreciated greatly.

There was some incorrect information but the staff dealt with the problem in an exceptional way.

Southern Palms will be our go to now when in the Leesburg/Eustis area. However, Booking.com does not state a $200 deposit was necessary on top of the $170.00 due before arrival. As we got to the Southern Palm Office we had paid for one of nights prior, and the told an additional $200.00 was due with the remaining balance. Very unexpected. That could have thrown some guests for a loop. with financials in 2023. 200, was refunded promptly after they checked the property after we left. very pleased with where we stayed, the people who work in the Resort.

Booking.com not stating the 200.00 deposit, on top of the 340.00 for the weekend.

Accommodates a family of three well. Having a washer/dryer came in handy since we were at the county fair! Having the ability to cook dinner was really nice, helped keep things a little healthier. Fair food gets expensive.

How close the unit was to the road. The road noise while sleeping was difficult. Also a neighbor keeps an outside security light on overnight which shines directly into the bedroom window that doesn't have a shade/blind. That light kept the room lit which also made sleeping difficult. Prefer a king size bed. Would have been nice to have access to the pool closer to the unit. Narrow parking pad when you have a bigger truck.

It was a very accessible location and very quiet. All the people we came across were very friendly. Nicole from the office was very communicative prior to check in. Check out was easy, we ended up booking an extra night only because we were doing a late check-out. They had a very convenient drop off for the keys, and we were on our way.

The floor in the location was very dirty. It was clean without any debris on the floor, however, the vinyl floor itself was dirty, it needed some serious mopping. Also, the pull out couch was a great option, however, it was a bit uncomfortable.
