Cottage Inn - Grantville

Bed was comfy, heat worked great, very roomy and private, nice and clean.

Shower head was awful, went in every direction and was barely even touching me. The way the curtains are the floor is bound to get soaking wet.

It was inexpensive so we really couldn't expect much.

The manager was unfriendly. A cockroach greeted us as we entered our cottage. The cleanliness of the room was questionable.

The place is clean, beds comfortable & location to what we needed was great. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s affordable & served the purpose.

Apparently on the booking website, it must automatically default to 2 ppl staying. We had 2 adults & 1 teenager. Under reservations requests it was made aware we would also be using the sofa bed in addtn to the 2 queen beds & we asked it be very clean (it was) an supply bedding for it (it was) more than 24 hours prior to check in I also called & spoke to her & confirmed we would be using the sofa bed in addtn to the 2 queens. Upon check in we were charged more because there were 2 adults & 1 teenager. Yet the room slept 5. There weren’t any addtl ammenities & they were 100% aware prior to check in. More toilet paper would’ve been nice. One small roll for 2 nights just isn’t enough.

Was not near the highway

Cockroaches, mold and algae in icemaker also had someone doing drugs outside our cottage.

The location to where I needed to be was excellent, setting was nice with some resident’s cats in the area, I like cats so not a bad thing, I got the pet a few. The Bedroom was also fairly good.

It was kind of like being in a friend’s badly remodeled basement. I spent a few hours trying to get the thermostat to work properly and had to call for help which they had no answer. For the amenities probably should’ve been more like $40 a night then 80.. The manager, owner? Seemed like she wanted to get every last dime out of you. not very accommodating..

Loved the bed it was very comfortable. Had a nice mini kitchenette nice big screen TV. It's a Cottage not just a motel room so there was plenty of room.

Only issue was the bathroom was to small and the shower was very small.
