Monterey Motel

The location is excellent, only access is uncomfortable,

For the price you can't expect much, but at least you expect a comfortable room without a bad smell, with insufficient outlets to connect travel devices, there is only one and this is occupied by the television and the cable modem, to connect the phone charger or any other device, it is necessary to disconnect the TV, the WiFi is terrible, almost non-existent and finally, fifth-rate customer service.

I DIDNT LIKE ANYTHING, ESPECIALLY, THE TONE OF THE WOMAN I SPOKE WITH WHEN I CALLED ABOUT PET POLICIES. IT WAS OKAY TO SAY THE WATER WAS OFF DUE TO PIPES ON MAIN BLVD WERE BEING REPAIRED. HOWEVER, HER SAYING IF THE WATER DID COME ON, SHE WOULD HAVE TO "THINK," ABOUT LETTING ME STAY. THIS IS NOT BEING PREJUDICE IN THE LEAST WHAT I AM GOING TO SAY FROM DAY-TO-DAY ENCOUNTERS WITH EASTERN INDIAN-OWNED BUSINESSES IN L.A. AREA....90% OF THEM ARE DOWN RIGHT NASTY AND RUDE!!! FROM HOTELS TO 7/11S! I AM SICK OF THEM ACTING AS IF I AM INTERRUPTING THEIR LIFE. THEY HAVE A DAMN BUSINESS BECAUSE OF CUSTOMERS!! THEY SEEM TO FORGET THAT THEY WOULD NOT HAVE THEIR BUSINESS IF THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMERS!! ANOTHER THING, IF THEY ĤATE DEALING WITH THE PUBLIC, THEN THEY NEED TO FIND ANOTHER MEANS TO MAKE A LIVING! OR....GO OPEN A STORE WHERE THE CUSTOMERS MAY SUIT THEIR FANCY MORE!!

Roaches, appliances didn't work, past guests graffiti and filth had accumulated over the years

The water was turned off the first night in the middle of shower. The serving night we were in a different room and the shower did not work at all.

Nothing about this property is acceptable.

Literally everything. Completely disgusting conditions. The walls are paper thin. You will hear every single car drive by as if you are lying in the street. The room was not cleaned. There was left over rotten milk in the fridge. We placed it on the door step for the cleaning lady to pick up since she was still cleaning rooms. It sat there for 2 days before I found a dumpster close to the property. We had roaches crawling all over our bed and belongings. I should have just took the loss and booked somewhere else but we were there for Cali Vibes festival so everything was booked in the area.

I stayed here for 4 days, and my room was not cleaned 1 time, and I wasn't given fresh towels the whole time while I was there. I tried to save money and get a cheap hotel, and it definitely was not worth it

The sounds of a women being sex’ed up loudly and well during check in at 11:30pm

I didn’t like that they asked you for your phone and took it behind the window to enter the Internet password. That’s very suspicious and disgusting behavior. I’ve never had a motel or a hotel take my cell phone to personally type in the Wi-Fi password. And not just that but when I got there, they told me that my room was given away and then I got into it with them about putting me up for the night and upgrading my room to king because I didn’t have anywhere else to stay. I had already paid for my stay there and then she tells me oh I do have a room with two beds, but I don’t think you’re gonna like it she hands me a key tells me go check if you like it if not we’re out of rooms and the mini fridge had spit and wads of hair crusted inside of it and had a horrible smell never staying here again

The area has a few places to eat close by

Everything else it's says 85 but I paid 135 total

The price was okay
