Lakeview Inn & Suites Okeechobee

The pictures and description of the hotel online were honest. I knew what I was getting when I booked the hotel. It was a clean comfortable hotel with few amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel met my needs.

There really wasn't anything I didn't like. I only needed a room to stay in while I was in town visiting my parents. I wasn't expecting a five-star experience because the description of the hotel was accurate.

Needed a coffee maker, with coffee.

Friendly staff/owners. Bed linen was clean and fresh.

Lots of bugs. They weren't bedbugs, but some other creepy crawlies. Lot of noise at 5 am. Floors weren't clean.

While the building itself is dated, the owner/manager keeps it ridiculously clean! The walls are a bit thin, but like I said, the building is old. The owner is lovely and seemingly works very hard to keep things ship shape. Priced right for what you get. Overall, I had a great stay and would stay again.

I never got a wifi code, but then again, I never asked. We were provided a coffee pot, but we had to go to Dolllar store and buy some mugs. Wasn't a problem, as we needed coffee and filters as well.

A very special place. The owners are so sweet. We told them we were on our honeymoon, and they decorated our room with flowers and chocolates! Also, the shower pressure is amazing. And there’s a beautiful ginger cat wandering around who loves being petted.
