Encino Motel

I hate to give this place a poor review because the people were so nice and helpful, but it just didn't make up for the overall experience

I had to do some work while I was there and the WiFi connect was completely unusable. The first room I was in was the worst, they tried to move me to a new room closer to the office and setup my own SSID. It was much better but still almost unusable for work. The room itself was very dated, the desk was falling apart, the room smelled (there were 2 air fresheners to try and mask the smell), the bed covers had stains on them, and the bathroom had a terrible remodel done on it. The first night I actually drove 2 hours back home to be able to have connectivity for work and sleep in my own bed.

I liked the secluded location. It was quiet and was able to get a good nights rest. We would definitely stay again.

Easy to find from highway. Nicer inside than out. Very quiet old style motel.
