Reef Gardens Motel

Rooms were neat and tidy.

It was freezing cold all night. There was one blanket but no heating available. It was also quite noisy with traffic being on the main road.

Large sized room. Bed was comfortable. Fridge size was adequate.

Distinct lake of furniture in a large room, no table, 2 basic chairs, one bedside stand, no bedside lights (all lights or nothing). Nothing to put the suit case on. Staff were a little bit off, made it obvious the room was theirs and we were sharing it with them. Insisted they must come in and clean on the day in between. ,We notified them about a faulty power point and rotten milk smell in Fridge. Got told there was no smell and that it was cleaned everyday. Came back from some time out to find all the power points unplugged and leads moved, so clearly someone had been in testing and hadn't put it back as we had it. Set up towels in bathroom only to find they were missing and new ones were put out in the room, thanks but we just wanted to come back to the room we had setup for our base for 2 days. We set up the room for our stay to have it changed back to how the staff wanted it. Didn't feel like our security or comfort mattered.

Location and friendly staff

Excellent, caring staff who were kindly able to change our booking to accommodate a sudden change to our travel plans due to family circumstances. Comfortable, spacious rooms that were clean and tidy.

No facilities for breakfast or any meal, towels very shabby (torn) sheets piled and washing fluff on them, I would not recommend. Over priced at $200.00.
