Carousel Beach Inn

Great location & views (few minutes' walk to beach and pier), friendly and very helpful staff, nice vibes, clean & comfortable room.

Somewhat musty smell in the room, but nothing intolerable

The staff is always amazing, the whole property is clean and safe.

The only complaint i would have is the bed frames are extremely loud and the bathroom could have been cleaned better there were hairs in the shower and on the walls

The only good thing about this hotel, besides the free popcorn in the lobby, is the location. All of the staff were inviting and polite. They all deserve 5 stars for sure.

The beds were way too firm, and the pillows were too soft. We barely slept and woke up with pain. The walls are so thin that you can hear full conversations from 2 rooms down. The automatic lights in the bathroom are horrible. It's not great getting up to pee at 2am, and the light and fan turn on high automatically. The light and noise woke the whole room. The continental breakfast was extremely lacking. The only hot food available was waffles. The iron was not set properly, so the middle of the waffle was not fully cooked, and they went soggy fast. The only eggs were cold and hardboiled, obviously from a bag. There was also the usual yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, and toast. If you want to carb load, this is the place to be. The only fresh fruit I saw were the same apples 2 days in a row.

The staff was super friendly and the location was amazing! The breakfast was pretty good too. I appreciate that the breakfast was not just pastries. They had hard-boiled eggs, apples, oatmeal, toast, waffles and bagels.

The room was not super clean. I found a chunk of some kind of dried up food on the underside of the bed cover.

You couldn’t ask for a better positioned hotel for everything you could possibly want or need…..The room was a good size and It had two queen beds which were both very comfy. There was also a good supply of towels and complimentary toiletries…..We were allocated a 3rd floor room that had a little balcony and two chairs which faced the rear car park that was excellent because it was nice and quiet…. We had little dealings with the staff but they were very polite and helpful when needed….. the car park was very secure.
