Stannum Lodge Motor Inn

This was my second stay at this lovely motel. There is undercover parking at the unit door making unpacking very easy - it also happened to be raining so it was much appreciated. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The air-con was modern and very quiet. Excellent kitchenette with microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, and several options for coffee and tea making - plunger, pod, instant. Easy to find on the corner of Wallangarra Rd and Hardy St - Google Maps navigation will try to take you into Hardy St but the entry is from Wallangarra St. I was warmly welcomed on arrival and the owner offered additional milk for coffee. The cost per night was excellent and much cheaper than most alternative options around the town. I will definitely book at Stannum Lodge on my next visit to Stanthorpe.

Very clean comfortable room. Lovely lady Kate at reception was super helpful. Short walk across the pretty creek to get coffee in the morning. Plenty of space for luggage as well as desk space to work at. Kitchen area was perfect. Pleased to have a full length mirror. Handy to have the car parked right outside the door. This is the third time I've stayed here.

Nothing really. It's an older style but very comfortable anyway.

The location was wonderful as the heart of Stanthorpe was just a short walk... The lady manager was amazing. We arrived late on our motorcyclein heavy rain and she just couldn't do more for us.. She even offered to drive us back into the business centre to get meals..She was so lovely. We would really like her to know how much we appreciated her offers of help and support. The room itself was so incredibly clean, very comfortable and exceeded what we imagined.

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like about this Motel.. Just an awesome place to stay and we will definitely be going back. Nothing was a drama. Bed was heaven to sleep on along with the incredible attention the staff take to ensuring that the room is spotless in every area.

Just spent 3 wonderful nights at this lovely motel. Stayed an extra night due to feeling so comfortable & at home. Have stayed previously under different ownership, but everything has remained perfect. Great kitchen with plenty of space. Even has a proper sink for washing up. Electric blankets. Good Wifi. Washing facilities, great Wifi & undercover parking Great customer service. Very engaging staff at reception, nothing is a issue for them Walking distance to tourist information centre & town centre. Great walking path around park at tourist information. Very scenic area

It is just a very good place to stop over when travelling through to get a good night's sleep.

Upon arrival, I was greetd by a lovely lady called Kate whose welcoming smile would touch the hardest heart of any weary traveller. A very clean, well presented and quiet motel which suited my needs as I work a lot in motel rooms both day and night. Over the last 40 odd years of travelling on business I would have stayed at over 1000 motels all over Australia and half way across the Asia Pacific and USA and I would say Stannum Lodge would definitely rate in the top 3 motels I have stayed in. To say I highly recommend the motel would be an understatement - I am going back again this week on business.
