Somerville Inn and Suites

The outside was very run down, the phone in the room did not work, the only outlet in the room that worked was the one the tv was plugged into so I didn't have anywhere to charge my phone, dead bugs on the floor, big space in the outside door when you closed it.

The room itself wasn't bad, and the rates were very affordable. AC was working great and the room was nice and cold. Easy to locate the property right off main road.

the bedsheets were stained. The bathroom towls looked dirty, like they used to be white at one point but now were tan colored. There was a dead roach in the bathroom. Had to go ask for toilet paper as soon as we got there because there was only a little left on the current roll and there was no more anywhere in the room.

Staff was friendly and courteous

Room a/c control was beat up

The sink was not working, the water in the shower was cold NO HOT WATER AT ALL

The owners are extremely friendly

Old hotel but so wasn’t expecting anything but the bare necessities but the bathroom was filthy but they came and cleaned it and gave us towels. The towels were really old and stained. The bed sheets were stained and had cigarette burns. The room door doesn’t seal and you can see light through it. The curtains didn’t close all of the way. The hotel is right next to the train tracks so you hear train horns all night long. The electric plugs along the bed wall did not work so we couldn’t charge our phones on the night stand. They lamps by the bed did not work either. The room smelled like old cigarettes.

The website and the brochure in the hotel lobby said breakfast was included in the rate. No breakfast. Asked for an extra towel. None were provided. There was no toilet paper in the room. I had to ask for that too.
