ZANature is awesome and the location of the camp is perfect. A place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the busy life.
The entire place was not clean to the 3 star standard that was expected. There was no staff. The cookery like pots and pans are old and rusted and was not cleaned properly. The carpet in the unit needs a good clean-up. The bedding is old and should have been replaced long ago. The picture used in the advertising is misleading as it does not look the same anymore, rather disappointing. The dec furniture looks as if it was collected from a dump.

ZAThis is a total switch off from the real world! We were really surprised by how detached from reality we felt. The accommodation felt like we were living in a tree house! Everything you need for a rustic getaway was provided. There was easy access to the river and a place to store my little rubber duck. No outboards allowed but I had a small electric engine which was perfect to explore the river estuaries. If you are a birder you will absolutely love this place. The amount of birdlife here is astounding. We saw fish eagles, kingfisher, loerie, moor hens, to name a few... If you are looking for a reset button, come and visit for a few nights... :)
Everything met expectations. With load shedding sometimes the power was off for half a day because of issues somewhere else, but candles were provided and we brought camping lanterns anyway. Only issue was the fridge/freezer being off for so long, but the owner just down the way was kind enough to store our stuff until the power came back on.
