The Seaview Tavern Motel

The helpful, friendly staff. The room was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows to select from

Location is close to the beach, about 5 minutes drive and an excellent Indian restaurant. Lovely beach walk and you can do part of the lake walk through the bush on the way back, if you wish. The owner, Carla, is a gem, sorted the two old people out with the key, the TV and local restaurants, very helpful. I wish her and her husband the very best with their business as it develops. Accommodation was tight in Woolgoolga when I booked, so the Seaview was a lucky find, providing all that we needed. We would happily stay there again.

The Booking.com website didn't mention that the key should be collected from the locked boxes at reception and that information would be emailed or texted, which was done, but I didn't realize that I had to check my messages. However, staff at the adjacent tavern put me in touch with Carla, who owns the motel and was able to sort us out very quickly.
