"Quiet, comfortable stay within easy walk of village and local facilities."

Very clean, comfortable room with quiet surrounds and pleasant garden area. I slept better than I do at home! A short stroll to the shops, cafes, pub. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Cindy our host was very helpful in pointing out local areas that catered to our particular requirements, also providing maps to assist in locating these place of interest to us. The room was very quiet, at night wonderfully dark, two of the best nights sleeps we had during our time in FNQ

Although it's walking distance into the little town its so quiet..we have stayed at the kookaburra a couple of times highly recommend if you love birds beautiful gardens and tranquil setting.. staff are so helpful... looking forward to our next stay..
